I am sharing images of Phnom Banan Temple in Battambang, Cambodia. I took these photos during a trip to Cambodia in January 2018. A person I met in Siem Reap owned a car, so I hired him as a driver for a two-day trip to visit Banteay Chhmar and the Battambang area.
I had never heard of Phnom Banan Temple before and visited it simply because he recommended it. However, I was made to climb a long and steep staircase, and since I was out of shape at the time, it left me completely exhausted.
Fortunately, the ruins at the top were well worth seeing, so the effort was worthwhile.
