I am sharing images of Pha That Luang in Vientiane, Laos, taken in November 2015. Seeing this stupa was the main reason I visited Vientiane. It has a very beautiful shape, and I think it is one of the most attractive landmarks in the city.
On that day, I cycled there from a hotel near the Mekong River. I prefer a sky with some clouds rather than a completely clear blue sky, so the weather was perfect for me.
However, it was hot. Very hot.
Because of the heat, I ate too much ice cream. I had three inexpensive popsicles, and later I developed severe stomach pain. As a result, I was unable to return home as originally planned. As a result, I was unable to return home as originally planned.
The cause of the stomach pain may have been a combination of factors, including fatigue and stress, not just the ice cream. However, one thing I can say is that Laos is hot.
In fact, I have traveled in this region three times, and all three trips ended with some kind of health problem. If I have another chance to visit, I would like to make maintaining my physical condition my top priority.
