I am sharing images of Ao Nang Beach in Krabi, Thailand. These photographs were taken at different times.
As I mentioned in my previous article about Railay Beach, I used to think of Krabi mainly as a port town for traveling to Phi Phi Island. However, after reaching a stage in my life when it became difficult to take long vacations because of work, I began visiting the beaches of Krabi more often.
Ao Nang Beach is especially convenient because it is easy to reach from town. There are many food stalls, restaurants, souvenir shops, and other stores nearby, making it a comfortable place to stay and a convenient base for exploring the area. The sea itself is not as beautiful as the beaches on the nearby islands, but the overall scenery of the beach is still very attractive. The sunsets are especially beautiful.
My personal impression is that Ao Nang Beach is like a smaller and quieter version of Patong Beach in Phuket. For me, it is a perfect tropical beach resort.
