I am sharing images of Ulun Danu Beratan Temple in Bali. These photos were taken in July 2024. As I remember, I left Ubud by a chartered car at around 8:00 AM, and the timestamps on the photos show that they were taken at around 10:00 AM. When I first arrived, a light mist was still hanging over the lake.
I thought the contrast between the colorful natural scenery and the temple was beautiful. The blue of the sky and the lake, the green of the mountains and aquatic plants, and the flowers along the lakeshore all stood out against the dark thatched roofs of the temple.
However, what I remember most is not the scenery itself, but the refreshing atmosphere of the highlands in the morning.
